To date Utonagan have had several health issues, the most prominent being:-

• Hip dysplasia

• Epilepsy

Some health issues have been noted to occur in specific breed lines, but are not necessarily exclusive to them:-

	Addison's Disease		These issues are generally traceable to certain dogs or matings, and therefore health tests are recommended along with very careful breed planning.
	Cataracts
	Cerebellar Hypoplasia
	Epilepsy
	Hip Dysplasia
	Unilateral Cryptorchidism
	Von Willebrand's Disease
